85.10 - Shavers, hair clippers and hair-removing appliances, with self-contained electric motor. - Shavers 85 10.20 - Hair clippers 85 10.30 - Hair-removing appliances 8510.90 - Parts 8510.10 This heading covers electric shavers and hair clip ers which have a built-in electric motor or vibrator, whether for use on human beings, or or shearing sheep or for grooming horses, clipping cattle, etc. P In electric shavers ( shavers) rotating or reciprocating cutters or knife blades slide along the inside of a perforate or slotted late, thus cutting those hairs which rotrude through the erforations or slots. In the case of air clippers, a comb-like cutter blade s Ides to and fio over a !xed metal comb thus cutting the hair or wool which is caught between the teeth of the combs. Hair clip ers for barbers' use operate on a similar principle to those for sheep shearers, grooms, etc., but 'ffer in size. R F i!
